Today we had Griffin's cast changed, because if you are going in a plane, you need to have it split in case it swells. Griffin was brave when the noisy machine cut the cast.
Check out the video below to hear the noisy machine.

Griffin has shown a real interest in his name lately, making us write it repeatedly. He can spell his name, and yesterday he wrote it all by himself for the first time! He wrote it before school, and thankfully, clever Raquel took a couple of photos.

Griff was in the playground, jumping off benches, shouting, "To infinity, and beyond!" when unfortunately he landed awkwardly on his hand and broke his left arm (near his wrist). It was a memorable way to spend Miles's birthday!

He has to have a cast on for 6 (long) weeks.

It doesn't seem to have slowed him down any, as he seems just as dare-devilish as ever.

Griffin has been riding his wishbone bike for ages, so we thought we'd try putting him on a pedal bike without training wheels to see how he'd go. As you can see, it was a pretty smooth transition!

Sundays when we're organised, we get together with our friends Katy & Steve, and Belinda & Ted for 'Sunday Night Dinners'. We get the kids together and have a great time.

Griffin takes swimming lessons with Wendy at Marsden Swim School, and loves it.

Griffin and Scarlett both like dressing up and walking around in our clothes. Here are some photos of them having fun together.

Any fears I had that the theatrical gene had skipped Griffin were put to rest today as Scarlett & I watched his Christmas Performance. He literally bounced with excitement.

Griffin created this gingerbread man with Scarlett's help this morning. He chose the decorations and Scarlett did the clicking and dragging.
